VANILLA MATCHA LATTE
Some drinks are good. This one is a ritual. Our vanilla matcha latte recipe pairs the vibrant, umami-rich flavour of CHÃ Wellness ceremonial grade matcha ( AAA ) with a touch of vanilla for a cup that is naturally sweet, antioxidant-rich, and impossibly creamy. Make it hot on slow mornings or go full iced vanilla matcha latte mode when the sun is out. Five minutes, four ingredients, one very happy you.
INGREDIENTS
- 3g CHÃ Matcha
- ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanilla syrup (about 10ml)
- 30ml hot water at 80°C
- Milk of choice
METHOD
Step 1: Sift matcha into a bowl to remove clumps
Step 2: Add 60ml of hot water at 80°C and whisk in a W motion until smooth and frothy
Step 3: Add vanilla extract or syrup and stir gently
Step 4: Pour into a glass of your favourite milk
Step 5: Stir gently and enjoy. For an iced vanilla matcha latte, fill glass with ice first, pour cold milk and top with matcha mix
Cha Tips
- Water at 80°C only boiling water makes matcha bitter
- Whisk in a W motion for the smoothest froth
- Oat milk gives the creamiest result
- Always use ceremonial grade matcha ( AAA )for the best flavour
